Viltrox AF 13 mm f/1.4 XF
9. Ghosting and flares
As a result its performance against bright light leaves a lot to be desired. The situation is perhaps not so bad at the maximum relative aperture. On the one hand vignetting helps here, on the other reddish colouring of one of frame corners is clearly visible even if the sun is situated far away from the frame.
On stopping down there are really a lot of problems. You can catch a lot of colorful artifacts with the sun inside the frame; when you put it right outside the corner your photo features huge areas of white flares. If you move the sun further away, the opposite corner will still feature an unwanted reflection, first red, then greenish. As you see there is a lot of room for improvement here.
