9. Ghosting and flares

The tested lens doesn't guarantee you a perfect performance against bright light. Flares can be caught mainly when the sun is situated inside the frame or right outside the edges – in that case you are able to register a bigger, diagonal overexposure.

Overall there are not many light artifacts and these more intensive can be caught only in very specific positions of the source of bright light. What's more, the overall contrast of photos doesn't deteriorate; it remains high even when the sun is inside the frame, and here the new model sticks out in a positive way, especially when compared to its predecessor that dealt weakly with this problem. To sum up the performance in this category can be described as average.
