Design, usage and summary
The ring is glued with no coatings on surfaces. It works with an even, moderate resistance. In fact the filter can’t be called either good or bad, it’s just a piece of properly made equipment. The spectrum characteristics are flat throughout most of the visible spectrum and they decrease in short-wave (more than 5% for blue) which might cause a slight warming of the tone of images. A very good extinction coefficient for green, a bit worse for red. The polarizer performs quite well in the blue light area.
