Polarizing filters test 2015
7. Benro SD CPL-HD WMC
That make is rather associated with tripod stands, bags and backpacks than with filters. Still they have gathered a lot of positive opinions although the company comes from China. Taking into account the high quality of their equipment you simply have to take a closer look at their filters - we chose 4 models from different segments for our test.

Design, usage and summary
A slim ring filter with the ring glued or pressed in. With such a slim mount the resistance of the movement could have been a bit smaller but the work is still even and smooth. The elements are slotted very well together. The surfaces are similar to those from the PD model – they are comfortable to clean on the outside but rather difficult to clean on the inside. Overall the filter makes a solid impression. The spectrum characteristics are similar to those of the previous model. There is a small tendency for warming of the colours; the extinction coefficient is good for green but less good in the areas of short-wave and long-wave.
