Canon EF 55-200 mm f/4.5-5.6 II USM

6. Distrortion

Wide focal length range lenses rarely suffer from geometrical defects at the frame edge. The Canon 55-200 mm is not an exception in this category. At 55 mm we have a minimal barrel distortion (-0.72%), which at 100 mm becomes a small pincushion distortion (0.73%) and at 200 mm increases slightly to 0.92%.
