At the maximum relative aperture the brightness loss in the frame corners amounts to 21% (-0.69 EV). It’s an average result and if you want to be very meticulous you can complain a bit because on full frame this value is bound to increase significantly. Fortunately on stopping down to f/4.0 the problem disappears completely (5%).
