We can say we are surprised in a positive way; taking into account the dimensions of the lens we expected a worse performance. At the maximum relative aperture the vignetting is significant, reaching 33% (-1.16 EV), but it decreases rather swiftly on stopping down. By f/4.0 the brightness loss in frame corners gets to 22% (-0.73 EV) and on implementing f/5.6 aperture the problem becomes completely insignificant (10%).
