Pentax smc DA 21 mm f/3.2 AL Limited

9. Ghosting and flares

The Pentax smc DA 21 mm f/3.2 AL Limited doesn’t work perfectly well against bright light. Just slight reservations can be had at the maximum relative aperture, though. Light artifacts do appear but their number is low and they are not very intensive. The problem increases on stopping down - luminous streaks appear in the image and there are more and more artifacts. A significant, greenish flare, which can be seen in the corner opposite to the source of bright light, is especially irritating.
