When it comes to the astigmatism its correction is a bit worse than that of coma. The average difference between horizontal and vertical MTF50 function values amounted to 6.6% but it is not a result you should worry about. Still it must be mentioned that the 200 mm focal length contributed the most to that value as it was the worst– in its case the astigmatism reached 11.2%. The shortest focal length had a truly sensational result of just 1.8% for a change.

For a zoom lens the defocused circles of light look very well. The light spread is very even; the one thing you can have reservations about is a light rim which intensity increases with the stopping down.
