The focusing mechanism is very fast and silent. Running the whole distance scale and finding the focus takes just about 0.4 of a second which is a very good result.
We don’t have any reservations concerning the accuracy of the autofocus. In studio conditions the number of misses didn’t exceed 1%. What’s more, the lens attached to the Fuji X-E1 didn’t have any front or back focus tendencies.
