Fujifilm Fujinon XF 16 mm f/1.4 R WR

9. Ghosting and flares

Near the maximum relative aperture the Fujinon 1.4/16 doesn’t have any problems with flares regardless of the position of the source of light. Still when you stop down the aperture significantly and the sun is situated just outside the frame there are a lot of problems. In the corner opposite to the sun you can notice a greenish or green-orange artifact. Fortunately the overall image resolution doesn’t decrease.

To sum up the performance against bright light of the tested lens should be described as good; it wasn’t very good but there were no serious reasons to complain.
