The astigmatism, understood as an average difference between horizontal and vertical MTF50 function values, amounted to 3.0%. It is a very low level so the performance in this category should be assessed very positively.

On the other hand defocused light circles don’t look so good. You can notice a lighter rim on the edge (even with the lens wide open) and noticeable onion ring pattern of bokeh. The blurry areas might be considered by some users as not exactly pleasant to the eye.
