Astigmatism correction is another matter – here we have more reservations. An average difference between horizontal and vertical MTF50 function values amounted to 17.7% and, in our opinion, it's a result on the borderline of high and medium level.

The appearance of out-of-focus images is quite nice, especially if you take into account the angle of view provided by the tested lens and also the fact that its construction features aspherical elements. The circles are quite smooth, without any heterogeneities or onion-ring bokeh. The only thing that sticks out is a brighter rim and mechanical vignetting. With a small Micro 4/3 sensor we didn't expect mechanical vignetting to be so visible, and here you can notice it even on stopping down the lens by 2 EV.
