At the maximum relative aperture the brightness loss in frame corners amounts to 37% (−1.35 EV), not a low value but, taking into account f/1.4 aperture and the angle of view of the tested lens, you can say it compares favourably with the results of the rivals. It seems the lens really profits from the fact that it is designed for a smaller detector.

On stopping down the aperture to f/2.0 vignetting decreases to 25% (−0.83 EV), and after applying f/2.8 light fall-off drops to 19% (−0.63 EV). By f/40 you deal with an even lower level, that of 14% (−0.44 EV). Further stopping down of aperture is able to lower vignetting by 1% at most.
As you progress from RAW to JPEG files, slight barrel distortion is corrected by cropping images and this fact influences vignetting measurements. Still differences between both types of files aren't distinct, never exceeding 2-3%
