Astigmatism understood as an average difference between horizontal and vertical MTF50 function values, amounted to 6.8%, a result on the borderline between low and very low level. It's also worth adding that the aberration is on the same level for every focal length we examined.

Out-of-focus images provided by the Tokina 11-18 mm won't bowl you over for sure. They feature too many uneven patches connected to onion-ring bokeh and a brighter rim on top of that. Still mechanical vignetting is not especially distinct here, remaining noticeable only and solely at the maximum relative aperture.
