As it befits a good manual lens, the tested Laowa is equipped with a comfortable manual focus ring which focus throw amounts to about 100 degrees, and a clear depth of field scale.

Venus Optics LAOWA 6 mm f/2 Zero-D MFT - Focusing

The parameters of the Laowa 2/6 and its huge depth of field, stemming from them, mean in most of cases you don't have to think about focusing at all. It's enough you glance at the focusing ring to find out that 0.5 of a meter and infinity markings are really close to each other.

In case of landscape photography, using apertures that range from f/2.8 to f/8.0, it's enough you set the ring at the beggining of the inifinity symbol and you can forget about focusing completely.
