In case of full frame there are much more problems. At the 24 mm focal length barrel distortion is perhaps not so very high, amounting to −3.90%, but that result is decreased by moustache deformations. If you limit your measurements to the 1:1 marking area, where you cannot notice any deformations of straight lines caused by moustache distortion, our result increases to −4.61%. It is not a way of dealing with distortion but we must also say that here the Samyang performs much better than the Sigma, which result, averaged out across the frame, reached −4.56%; in the area limited by 1:1 markings it even approached −6.47%.

Distortion again becomes zero near the 35 mm focal length where we got -0.15%. Then it changes the sign and at 50 and 70 mm you deal with the following results: +1.69% and +1.75% respectively. They are a tad higher than the results of the Sigma for a change as that lens in the same category got +0.94% and +1.32% respectively.
