Fujifilm Fujinon XF 8 mm f/3.5 R WR
10. Autofocus
When it comes to the accuracy of the mechanism, the tested Fujinon didn't surprise us in an unpleasant way. It performed exemplary both in our studio and outside. Still, we should mention the fact that the depth of field in this lens is so huge that it wasn't difficult at all. In fact this lens could be as well a manual device. Even if you set the focus at 1 meter by the maximum relative aperture the sharp area stretches from a distance of less than 0.5 of a meter to infinity.
We also didn't observe any front or back focus tendencies.
