11. Summary
Pros:
- solid casing and high build quality,
- very good image quality in the frame centre,
- sensible image quality on the edge of the frame,
- properly corrected lateral chromatic aberration,
- slight longitudinal chromatic aberration,
- lack of problems with spherical aberration,
- not bothersome distortion,
- imperceptible coma,
- sensational image stabilization,
- sensibly fast, accurate and silent autofocus.
Cons:
- a bit too high astigmatism in the middle of the focal range,
- performance against bright light could have been better.
As we’ve already mentioned Faroe Islands let me present also some edited photos I took during that trip; the tested lens was attached to the Panasonic Lumix DMC GX9.
