Sigma C 20 mm f/2 DG DN
6. Distortion
On full frame the situation is worse, and even doubly so. Firstly, you get a noticeably higher result, reaching a high level of −5.43%. Secondly, after a while you find out such a high level has been already reduced with help of moustache distortion. If you limit your measurements to the area limited by 1:1 markings, distortion increases to a truly huge value of −6.27%.
We have been repeating time and again that we don't like such an approach. Of course you can rely on your camera's software but still you might try and reduce deformations with optics, preferably without introducing moustache distortion in the process.
